I do this kind of work myself, and when you are told to do--or not to do--something, you follow directions. You don't decide you're going to make "the better decision" for someone; that's absolutely not your job, and it's against the law.

Funny you should list those jobs as people you are sympathetic to, considering almost all of them are union jobs. It's a little easier to give up your holiday knowing that you get good pay and benefits, rather than getting minimum wage and no benefits.

Can someone please let journalists know the difference between an "assault rifle" and an "assault weapon?" An assault rifle can actually fire in fully-automatic mode, and is a long-established classification of certain military firearms.

Shame on all of you giving this guy the thumbs up. Whether or not you think today's young adults need to be "taken down a peg," their graduation day is not the day to do it. Graduation represents the culmination of 12 years of education, and they get one day of celebration.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with the law. The problem is that he broke it. The article specifically says that the law doesn't allow the carrier of a firearm to drink while in the bar, nor is it legal to be drunk anywhere while carrying.
